A rare original circa 1930's lady's three piece lined silver lame' burlesque costume. A matching helmet style cloche cap, and a back hook and eye closure to the very short shorts, with a 32" bust, 25" waist and 32" hips. In sound as found condition, with some perspiration oxidation to the shorts, and some surface wear to the lame' from normal use, most again to the shorts. Don't miss this great costume from the Burlesque and Vaudevillian era.

Art Deco White Satin Bare Midriff Grecian Goddess Gown
This vintage Art Deco white satin bare midriff Grecian goddess gown dates from the early 1940s. It is made of an off white cream color heavy silk satin glossy lustrous fabric. There are decorative quilted stitched trim shoulder straps, neckline and open bare midriff front with peekaboo criss-crossing braided straps. This gorgeous Grecian goddess gown is floor length, with a V front neckline, open back, full skirt and side zipper, hook and eye closure. The dress measures 54 inches long, with a 24 inch waist and 34 inch bust. It is in good wearable condition, with only a few tiny black grease marks on the back and side skirt. This extravagant elegant evening gown was custom made and is a wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco Greek revival textile art!

I miss the 80's. It was a great time. Reagan and his wife were classy people- always dressed up, and it put a classiness in the nation, even my buddy, Madonna looked kinda cute at times
The hair-styles were cutting edge, and new. The clothes were FABULOUS, the music was upbeat and fun, we had strawberry sortcake dolls, pakman, legwarmers and the models were called "Super-models" I loved
....the music, it was ORIGINAL and it wasn't RAP CRAP, as we have now.

Out of every decade I, personally have been in, the 80's were the MOST fun.
Here is some nostalgia.. for you
to enjoy from ebay, and etsy and NING.

This is my absolute favorite seller on Ebay...MaryMulddon. If you want the best quality hat, she has IT

This 1930-40's wide brim crin hat is a beautiful, pale lavender with brim trimmed with lavender and purple embroidered flowers. There is a lavender satin ribbon around the crown ending in back bow |
Now, this is the BOMB. NOBODY will have a dress like this. I wore things like this in the Hamptons and Monterey, Cali in the 80s', when I was YOUNG and gorgeous! LOL... Here is the description:

This is fabulous hat with an outstanding design. It's made of imported black velour, and is embellished with netting on the crown, a wonderful green coq feather at the front, and has two velour hearts at the base of the feather - each edged with rhinestones. This hat can sit straight on the head or tipped back slightly as shown- not sure how the netting is suppose to be placed as the feather prevents it from coming forward..
